The kids are very excited about Halloween. Their friend has invited them to a Halloween Party on the 31st and that's all they talk about. I brought a pumpkin home from our neighbors at some point last week and this weekend we attempted to carve a pumkin. Mind you I have not carved a pumpkin in nearly 17 years. The first and last pumpkin I carved was in 2003 with my Au pair kids when I was in the US. The kids allowed me to do the messy work, as they didn't like the pumpkin flesh inside. And then told me what I had to cerve in the pumpkin. Eyes and a smiling mouth. Thankfully that was quite easy to follow. I dread to think what thez come up with in the years to follow but then they will be bigger and can do it themselves
