Sababurg Wildlife Park

Today we went on a trip to Sababurg Tierpark (Sababurg Wildlife Park). Sababurg tierpark is a 130-hectare wildlife park and lies in the middle of the magical Reinhardswald. More than 700 animals of about 80 species live there. It took us about 1 hour 20 minutes to get there and we had a wonderful day, walking the park.

The boys enjoyed watching the penguins and also the reindeers. Niklas loved to pet the donkeys too. I really enjoyed the watching the deer, Dybowski deer, Asian red deer, Wisent (european Bison) and wolves. We heard but didn't see the moose. Another highlight for me was the birds of prey show, with Harris Hawks, different types of Eagle, Snow Owl.

All in all we walked a lot, saw many animals and had an amazing day.
